Building a Community
The students at Saint Nicholas Catholic School have a variety of ways to be a part of our dynamic community, from Morning Assembly, Spirit Rallies, Blessing of the Pets, Parades, Dads vs. Grads to Field Day. Each student receives a “buddy” through our buddy program. This program allows students from different classes to come together and participate in a variety of projects.

Morning Assembly
Three mornings a week, our students gather in the quad for a student-led assembly. Grades take turns leading the pledge of alligiance and morning prayer, and our Student Council leads announcements.

Blessing of the Pets
St. Nicholas celebrates the blessing of the pets on October 4, the Feast Day of St. Francis. Families are invited to bring their pets, be they dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, lizards, fish and sometimes even goats and horses - for a special blessing and a lot of fun!

Buddy Program
Our buddy program pairs students across grades in a school-wide pairing of classes that promotes student leadership and community building. Buddies read, do service projects and celebrate holidays together; they also come together in multi-grade groups for 8th-grade led Faith Families.

Dads vs. Grads
Every year, our 8th grade graduating class competes with their Dads (moms, too!) in our annual basketball tournament. Who will win?

Walkathon
Saint Nicholas School students look forward to our walkathon every spring!

Talent Show
Our Saint Nicholas School students look forward to Celtics Got Talent, an annual assembly where Celtics from kindergarten to eighth grade share their gifts of singing, dancing, playing musical instruments and much more!
